We are a small but passionate team of outdoor educators dedicated to bringing nature-based learning to life.

Gemma leads the Forest School sessions, guiding children through activities that encourage curiosity, independence, and confidence. With years of experience, she ensures every session is safe, engaging, and packed with adventure!

Our second team member supports the smooth running of our sessions, helping to create a welcoming and supportive learning environment.

Together, we’re here to inspire a love for the great outdoors!

Lynne

My name is Lynne, I launched Wilderness Wanderers Ltd in April 2022. Since then the business has grown as we work with a variety of primary and secondary schools, nurseries and run family sessions. We have recently launched birthday parties also. 
 
I am a mum to two beautiful children who keep me busy when I’m not delivering forest school. I’m qualified level 3 forest school, Theraputic forest school leader and have my BA Hons in Early Childhood. I’m currently completing a course to be a certified Outdoor Mental Health practitioner.
 
I enjoy being outdoors all year round, I believe the world doesn’t stop when it’s cold or raining. I enjoy working with all ages of children and adults and see their skills and learning develop during our sessions outdoors.

Gemma

Gemma is a valued member of the Wilderness Wanderers team and a qualified Level 3 Forest School Leader. With a natural passion for the outdoors and a deep belief in the power of child-led learning, Gemma brings warmth, creativity, and a sense of adventure to every session.

As a mum to two girls, Gemma understands just how important it is for children to have space to be themselves — to explore, imagine, and connect with nature on their own terms. She loves watching children thrive as they build confidence, learn new skills, and simply enjoy being outdoors without restrictions.

Gemma’s calm, encouraging nature and playful spirit make her a firm favourite with children and parents alike. She’s always ready with a smile, a creative idea, or a bit of mud magic!
